Thought I'd share with everyone my experiences with HQ rates on Baron Slops. This is by no means to be taken as gospel..it's just what I found worked for me.
So I'm sitting there one day looking at my clothcrafting (85.4) and wondering what I can try to HQ for profit when I find the Baron Slops. I chose this item simply because it uses one red grass cloth rather than 2 for most of the other Baron items so crafting a dozen didn't hurt the wallet as much if I NQ'd em all. I heard that darksday was a good time to HQ/skillup so seeing as how it was mid lightsday full moon I decided to wait and try my luck on darksday full moon.

Results: 8/12 HQ (8 @40K each was 320k gross profit) Was I excited? Hell ya!

So a few days go by and darksday new moon was coming up. I thought to myself (more like the greedy side of me) lets try again. So, same recipe, same skill level, same day...new moon.

Results: 0/6 HQ At which point I pulled the plug and said enough.

Few days later I still have half of my mats and darksday full moon is coming up again. So I convinced myself to buy more mats to complete my stacks in order to convince myself that the results of the full moon were luck and nothing more. Here we go again. Same recipe, day, skill AND moon this time.

Results: 9/11 HQ with 2 breaks..went and bought more mats for one more synth and HQ'd that too.

I do all my crafting for HQ's on fullmoon darksday now. Individual results may vary. Happy crafting.

PS...I also was facing SE for earth crystal HQ. Might not play a factor...but does it really hurt?
