Wow exists 4 years now. Would be logical that Blizz is making some effort to WOW2. But dont count on in within the first 2 years. Thats my guess.
Would be realy cool. WOW2 for the win.

There are rumors they're first going to upgrade the current engine. Some hints towards that are already visible with the WOTLK update. Shadows are now dynamic instead of a simple circle on the floor.
